We have chosen these props as we feel they fit best with the music genre and with the themes in our video. Our video will have performance in it so we felt is was key to include instruments in the video. The watch is something we felt could be used as a creative way of showing the passing of time in our music video and we could use interesting editing techniques such as the speeding up of time or rewinding it. The props that we have chosen also fit really well with the codes and conventions of our genre as these items pop up quite a lot in indie rock music videos and are often the main focus of the video.
