Work In Progress

This week we have done a lot of filming. This includes an extensive range of shot types when we are actually out and filming for the final product. We tried to emulate some of the shots that we filmed in our back up footage but this time they were in appropriate places. The locations that we have decided to film at were the green screen room, the field, the George Abbot underpass and a little of of our school theatre. We have chosen our mis en scene with care, trying not to get backgrounds that would break our continuity. We still have a few more shots to shoot but this will be required to shoot on a weekend which we are planning to do soon.
One of the locations that we used we changed a little bit because we thought that there was a more creative location that worked well with the weather that we were shooting in. This was when we wanted to do a sort of stop motion style shot and we through that it would be good if it was done with brightly coloured autumn leaves that work well within the frame, giving it a vibrant sort of colour that fits in nicely with the indie rock conventions.
As shown in this shot, it was good we changed the story board a little bit because i think that this shot makes for a more effective location and fit for our song.
