Analysis of CD Cases

The first case is 2nd Law by the band Muse. The front cover is extremely colourful image of neurons in the brain on a black background which makes the colour and image sand out much more. It is very eye catching which is useful as more people are going to notice it when buying it.
The back of the 2nd Law case is the list of songs with the most noticeable thing being different from other music CD cases would be the font which is quite odd as each letter is spread apart. It uses a similar colour scheme from the front cover.

The side of the 2nd Law case is extremely basic it is just a black background and the name of the CD in slightly colourful text along with the music producer's name.

The inside cover of the 2nd law only continues the colour scheme from the outside of the case, very basic but stands out a lot more due to the bright colours on the black background. However lacks anything else.
The next CD case is The best of Mark Knopfler and Dire straits Private Investigations. The front is very simple with a cloudy sky which is quite dark, with a red guitar on the front floating in the sky. The dark background brings out the red in the guitar more.

The back of the Dire straits CD is the dark clouds in the sky with a simple white text of the list of the songs and the copyright information. Nothing stands out, there is no different coloured text.

The side of the Dire straits CD is the same cloudy background and the CD name much like the front cover where the majority of the words are in gold with the key words like "Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler" to make them stand out more to the person looking at it.
The inside of the Dire Straits CD is quite interesting, it does continue the dark clouds from the outside and has the body of the guitar from the front cover but adds a quote from one of the songs on the disk why aye man. This is very basic but upon open the text does draw attention from the user.

The final CD is Night visions by Imagine Dragons. The front is very aesthetically pleasing as it has a purple/blue background with a person standing on some kind of Rock formation. The main focus of the text is Imagine Dragons due to their large popularity it stands out more to people likely to buy their CD.

The Back cover of Night Visions is black with the text being in the centre of the cover. The text is white which makes it stand out much more than the front.

The side of Night visions continues with the front cover background but with the album name and band name on the side. The band name is in bold whereas the album name isn't showing more that the band name is more important than the album name as it most likely makes them more money through sales.
Night visions only had a black background upon open which was nothing of interest.
