The back of this album cover is very minimalistic. There is not much going on but it tells you what you need to know. Despite this I do like the tear at the top of the cover as it makes what looks like a very bland back cover a little more exciting. The front of the cover is a lot more exciting than the back of the CD case. This case goes on more of a photography route rather than a artwork route. I like how the colours used on halsey the artist are replicated in the picture in the background linking halsey with nature. It also does a good job of showing the image of the artist hear you can see that the artist is quite reflective and this gives the viewer a idea of the kind of music they are going hear in the album. The spine of the CD case is very simple there isn't much to talk about as it is simply white with the black text of the name of the album and the name of the artist.
The back of this album cover is very interesting although simple. It has a
very dark look which indicates to people looking at this that the music in the
album is also quite dark. Although it does have bits of colour on the black
which stands out quite a lot. The colours used on the back link with the colour
used on the front which makes sure the case has the same tone on all sides.
The front of the case yet again is more photography based as it shows the band
standing with a black background in green/blue tinted light. Yet again this
album cover focuses on the artist’s image as they are the main focus of the
cover. Yet again giving the viewer an idea of what the band is like and the
kind of music they might make. The spine of the case yet again is very simple
with the black background with the band’s name written in the same font as the
font used on the front of the case.
The front of the case is also very photography based and is very focused on
the artist as his face fills the entire front of the cover. The artists face in
this is in put in a black and white tint possible indicating that the artist’s
work is very mysterious and thoughtful. Maybe the songs have some rather dark
and sad tones. The back of the cover is very simple yet again which seems to be
a trend with these CD cases. It is simply just a red background with white
talking about the songs in the album. The spine of the case is also equally as
simple as it’s just black with a white pus and name of the artist.
