Final designs for our digipack

This is our final design for the CD case for our album. We decided to go with the idea of having each of the band members one side of the CD case. Singer on front, Guitarist on back and drummer on the inside. To better align our title in tune with our front cover we decided to go with the idea of using chemical bottles to represent the remedy. As you can see above throughout the case you'll see each band member posed as if they are about to drink from a chemistry bottle. This will be photographed and each bottle will have its own colour which will correspond with the colour explosion in the background. For example the singer will have a red liquid and have a red colour explosion. Each of the band members will he also holding there respective instrument in the other hand. We felt this did a good job of displaying our key concept of remedy without it being too subtle. We wanted colour to be a big thing in our cover so we wanted to colour explosion to make sure it really stands out. For the spine continued the idea of bottles and colour explosion by having it at the bottom and explosion going up the spine. The disc we did similarly a bottle with a colour explosion. The colour explosions on the disc and spine will be a mix of the three colours displayed for the three members. In this case red, blue and yellow.
For our magazine ad we wanted to bring over our key themes on our CD case with the bottles and colour explosions. We chose this design which has a hand holding a chemical bottle with a colour explosion behind it. This will be on a black background. We liked this idea as it boldly shows the key concept of our album in a nice and simple way. The colour explosion like in the spine on cd case will be a mix of red, blue and yellow as displayed on our three band members.
