Magazine ad initial design

For my initial design for our magazine ad I wanted to create something that would do a good job of linking with the theme of the album while not being a direct copy of our album cover. So I decided to o with a hand holding a chemical bottle which shows up in our album cover with a red, blue and yellow colour explosion in the back. These are the three main colours on our album cover. I like this design as it nicely shows the concept for our album in a bright and stand out way.
